Growing up in Alaska taught me to push my limits early on—whether I was braving freezing temperatures, racing motorcycles professionally, or starting my own businesses. I’ve always had a passion for discovering ways to improve both my mind and body, which is what ultimately led me to cold plunging.
Like so many others, I started with a DIY setup—a stock tank and daily trips to buy ice. Let me tell you, lugging ice every day gets old fast. So, I stepped it up with a chest freezer conversion. It worked, but after six months of dealing with maintenance headaches, leaks, and a few too many close calls with electrocution, I’d had enough. There had to be a better way.
I couldn’t find a product that checked all the boxes - high quality, affordable, and easy to use—so I decided to make one myself. I spent years working with top manufacturers, consulting health and fitness experts, and perfecting every detail to create something I was proud of. I wanted it to be accessible to as many people as possible because I knew firsthand how life-changing cold plunging can be.
